Amazing hotel with free wi-fi, luggage storage, and tv. The staff once helped me with evening plans. I highly recommend it! I'm coming back for a Christmas stay.

Request earplugs at check-in if you're sensitive to noise. it made my stay much more comfortable while the upstairs guests were lively.

Couldn't recommend more for a city break
Clean room, modern amenities, the comfortable bed offered great support for a restful night's sleep after exploring the nearby attractions within a short 15-minute walk from the railway station.
No complaints from me.

Near Portsmouth University Gym Center, Close to local dining options, Proximity to Gunwharf Quays
Soundproofing standards leave much to be desired!!! Small bathroom sizes can be a hassle during use. A little update on decor wouldn't hurt either!!!

Savoring Portsmouth’s local bites, I stumbled upon The Dolphin and Wellington Kitchen Lounge Bar—blissful food spots that tickle the taste buds. The room, though snug, provided a comfy nook for resting after my culinary escapades.
While the atmosphere buzzed, it came with a side of noise—thin walls had me eavesdropping on neighbors like a nosy neighbor! And with a tiny bathroom, maneuvering around felt like an Olympic sport.

Great Location and Clean Rooms!
I had a lovely stay in a cozy double room that was clean and well-equipped, including tea and coffee facilities. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and local amenities, making it perfect for exploring the city. I did notice a bit of noise from nearby rooms at night, which could be improved.

the room was big enuff and clean, really nice. had tea and coffee makin stuff which was cool! location is pretty awesome, only 10 mins walk to city center. enjoyed that there was a gym just 3 mins away too!
the bathroom was kinda small and the shower setup was a bit awkward. also, the walls were thin so could hear other guests too much.

Clean room with comfy bed. Small bathroom made it a bit tricky to shower. Free parking permit is a plus.

A well-suited match for a date night in Portsmouth with high value for money. The shower was spacious and easy to use. Bring your own snacks as the onsite dining is limited.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially the cozy room and the nice little garden to relax in after a long day. I appreciated the free parking and the quick walk to the nearby pub for dinner. The only downside was the room felt a bit small and warm, but it didn't take away from a great experience! 😊

Cozy & welcoming vibes
Had a lovely stay! The staff were super friendly and really made us feel at home. The room was comfy, just what we needed for our 3 nights. The meals were delicious, especially the Sunday roast we tried after being told to give it a shot. The heating could've been better though, as it got a bit chilly at night.
